Cache of arms, ammo recovered in Reasi: Police | KNO

Reasi, Feb 22 (KNO): Reasi Police on Saturday said to have recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from forests of Jamslan Mahore area in the district. A joint team of Reasi Police and 126 CRPF Bn. after receiving a specific input, launched search and cordon operations in the forest area of Jamslan area of Sub-Division Mahore and recovered arms and ammunition under a tree covered with blanket in forests of Simbli Jamslan, Mahore, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). The arms and ammunition recovered includes four AK-47 magazines, 268 rounds of AK-47, 04 UBGL grenades and four IED batteries. On this, Police have registered a case in this regard and investigation is underway, the statement reads—(KNO)
